How do I pay for my Flex car?
Flex makes it easy to set up payments right on the Flex website or toll-free at 888-928-FLEX. You can pay by credit or debit card, link directly to your bank account, or use another form of digital payment.
What selection of cars can I get from Flex?
Flex lets you choose from over 20 major auto brands – from budget-friendly compacts to SUVs and luxury options. While many cars are nearly new, all of them are less than five model years old and have fewer than 70,000 miles. While shopping, you can save your searches to be notified when more cars that fit your preferences become available. Is Flex a purchase?
Ah, the million-dollar question. And the answer is… no! With Flex, you don’t have to step up to pay the full sticker price for a car. You can choose the product that fits your needs. Just choose one of our leasing options, make a one-time down payment, a refundable security deposit and monthly payments.
How does Flex compare with traditional auto financing models?
Flex is pioneering a new way to get a lease a used car with our digital service without any negotiation or outside financing. If you take out a loan, you’re often stuck paying it back for five years or more – all while the car consistently loses value. With Flex, your car is something you experience, not a depreciating asset you’re stuck paying off for the better part of a decade.
Does Flex check vehicle history reports?
Yes. Before any car can is entered into our inventory, it must pass AutoCheck. A pass means the report comes back with the following results: No reported accidents of any kind No reported damage of any kind No lemons No flood-damaged vehicles No salvage titles No airbag deployments No manufacturers buybacks No stolen vehicles Our system also actively listens for new events. That means if a car is in our site, and the AutoCheck report was updated to reflect an accident, our system will remove that car.
What does that mean for you?
It means we are constantly monitoring the available cars on our app to ensure that they have clean records.
Who am I getting the car from?
All Flex cars come from one of the trusted dealer partners in our network. Our Customer Care team will help you arrange a pickup or delivery once you’ve found the car you want.
Can I test drive the car beforehand?
No, you cannot test drive the car beforehand. However, Flex allows you a 2-day and 100-mile, no-risk cancellation policy. If you’re not happy with your car within this time period or mileage limit (whichever comes earlier), you can return it for a full refund. This allows you to test drive your car risk-free.
How does the returns process work with Flex?
It’s easy! When you are ready to return your Flex car, you can initiate a return in the Flex app. Once you initiate the return, just answer the questions about your Flex car and select times for pickup.
Can I buy my Flex car?
Love your Flex car so much that you never want to let go of it? We know the feeling. However, we don’t currently offer a buyout program.
Can I drive my Flex car for Rideshare such as Uber or Lyft?
No. At this time, all Flex cars are for personal use only.
Does Flex accept trade-ins?
We don’t accept trade-ins.
Am I allowed to add accessories?
Flex allows the following accessories or modifications to the Flex car: Removable window tinting Roof rack systems and cargo carriers Backup cameras Security electronics Truck bed liners Tow hitches Upgraded parts that match standard manufacturer specifications All other modifications require prior written approval from Flex, which we may withhold at our sole discretion. For more info, please email [email protected]. Any accessory or modification must be professionally installed at your own cost in full compliance with the law. Any modifications or accessories left on the Flex car at return, or that cannot be removed, become part of the Flex car and the property of Flex. You may be charged any damage related to the installation or removal of accessories.
Am I eligible for the leasing tax incentives?
That depends — everyone’s tax situation varies greatly, so we’d encourage you to talk to a tax professional before counting on it.
